The Application
Before you apply for a Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship please read our Email Tips and Application Tips.
The 2012 Beyond the Boroughs Application is now available. The application deadline is March 19th, 2012.
Directions:
1. Complete the online application below.
2. Mail ONE letter of recommendation, an official copy of your transcript, and your completed Student Aid Report to:

3. Your letter of recommendation should be written by an academic teacher, professor or guidance counselor. Please only mail ONE letter and supply the recommender with the following information:
- You have been selected as a reference by an applicant for a Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship. We have many more applicants than we do scholarships and your recommendation is an important part of this process.
- How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?
- Please tell us why this particular student should be selected for a college scholarship?
- Please have the letter returned on official school letterhead in a sealed envelope with your recommender’s signature name across the sealed back flap of the envelope.
4. The transcript, letter of recommendation and Student Aid Report must be postmarked by March, 19th, 2012.

If you would prefer a complete paper application please send an email to info@beyondtheboroughs.org and you will be emailed a paper application. The paper application and all additional materials such as the transcript, letter of recommendation and Student Aid Report must be postmarked by March 19th, 2012.
